F for the Favorite FAN - # A to Z challenge 2017
In this A to Z challenge , I am attempting very small verses of poetry for all things that are at home or office which are either showpieces or left there for its own reason. I am imagining that each of it is telling its own story !
I have met them, the royal legacy
The talukdars, the babus , the English so sassy;
And maybe you too, now that you fancy me
Let me in the corner and the tea talks we see;
The young, the youth, the old and the adult
All loved me for I gave them the space to rest;
Antique and unique as I have grown
Polished and renewed on my own;
No one will match, the smile I got
When my air hit that mothers lap;
What I crave was the way you sought
When my wings went flap , flap, flap;
I have met them, the royal legacy
The talukdars, the babus , the English so sassy;
And maybe you too, now that you fancy me
Let me in the corner and the tea talks we see;
The young, the youth, the old and the adult
All loved me for I gave them the space to rest;
Antique and unique as I have grown
Polished and renewed on my own;
No one will match, the smile I got
When my air hit that mothers lap;
What I crave was the way you sought
When my wings went flap , flap, flap;
