Work Life Balance

It’s a bright sunny morning; I look out of my window from the seventh floor to enjoy the early morning. But I am distracted by too many noises. Honking cars and bikes in traffic jam are the prominent ones. Everyone seems to be running with no time. What are we chasing??? Everyday seems to be a marathon with no time left to do many of our precious things. Our heart aches to have a day where we will give time to all that we yearn to do. Most of us spend our day in working those extra hours which may or may not benefit us. After few years when we will sit and think of these, most of us will realize that we should have had a better Work Life Balance. Reports say that today people are prone to more illness due to this imbalance. Illnesses that are physical have medicines but those that affect us psychologically will take more than pills and a few years of our life to get cured. “Time gone is gone forever.” We can never get it back. Father - For you

The letter was so touching that it brought tears to my eyes. It was a letter from my Father! His letters have always been special to me though I have never told him this. No one escaped his anger and that made me even more distant from him. With my years of growing, my appa was only just another human being. Never did I bother to realize what he felt for me, silently in his own ways he was there whenever I felt a need for him. He expressed all his thoughts in writing to me – pieces of paper whose value is invaluable. With these thoughts in mind, the letter in front of me once again came alive. I

Women - I salute you!

Women – an epitome of beauty, patience and intelligence. Why did I choose these 3 words to describe the masterpiece created by the almighty? Not because I am one; for me, these words equal any women in this world. Every tiny corner of this world has tried and is trying to define Women; the truth is she is beyond definition. She is in search of her own self before birth till she dies. This search helps her to mould and change herself into the numerous faces she wears throughout her lifetime. The women of today are no different from the yesteryears; just that her surroundings have changed manifolds. Adaptability being her nature, she has given herself a new outlook. Every role that she portrays is carefully sculptured and created by her; with that comes the capability of being the best in all roles. For instance, women terrorists are equally wanted as their men counterparts - no one can say that they would cause less harm! Every woman has a story to tell; a story
